THE PIN: This version of Anakin spans his journey through The Clone Wars…from a place of exploration, friendship, and light to one of lonely greys and darkness. The divide between the two is Ahsoka’s padawan chain, trailing from the decisive moment of her leaving as the Dark encroaches on the Light.
Yet even in the absence of color and warmth, Anakin is not alone; Morai circles above where he remains shadowed by the two circles echoing the twin suns of Tattooine, the mark of the Son of Suns and the Chosen One.
Anakin’s flower is Myosotis, more commonly known as Forget Me Not. While there are many myths surrounding this flower - which represents not only hope and remembrance, but also death and loss - a popular one holds that long ago, a knight bent to pick a bundle of flowers for his lady and fell into the river, and because of his heavy armor, began to sink. As he drowned, he threw the flowers and cried out for her to forget him not.
THE TRIPTYCH WINDOWS SERIES: A triptych is a piece of art that is divided into three, fairly common among old stained glass installations. The goal with this series is to create enough pins of beloved SW characters for people to build their own triptych in our custom frame.
